ANTELOPE BUTTE ANNOUNCES SUMMER EVENTS

SHERIDAN, WY – The Antelope Butte Mountain Recreation Area will host its inaugural craft beer week at the end of this month. The week kicks off with a Pint Night at Black Tooth Brewing Co. in Sheridan on Tuesday, June 28, and wraps up with the first-ever Bighorn Mountains Brewfest on July 2. The brewfest will be held at the Antelope Butte Mountain Recreation Area on US Hwy 14.

“Local craft beer has always been part of the culture of ski areas, and we are blessed to have so many outstanding breweries in our area,” said Andrew Gast, Ski-EO of Antelope Butte. “These events are a great way for us to connect with the outdoor community and to showcase Antelope Butte as a summer hub in the Bighorns.”

The Pint Night at Black Tooth Brewing Co. in Sheridan will begin at 6pm on June 28 and feature live music from the Instagators and food for sale by Pie in the Sky. Antelope Butte merchandise will be for sale and a raffle will be held. Black Tooth Brewing Co. will also be donating $1 to Antelope Butte for every pint sold.

The Bighorn Mountains Brewfest, presented by RTG Parts, is aimed at creating an organized, family-friendly event in the mountains over Independence Day weekend. Confirmed participating breweries include Black Tooth Brewing Co. and Luminous Brewhouse from Sheridan, Ten Sleep Brewing Co. from Washakie County, Red Lodge Ales from Montana, as well as The Knuckle Brewery and Crow Peak Brewing Co. from South Dakota.

The Bighorn Mountains Brewfest will be held outside the lodge at Antelope Butte from 1-5pm on July 2. It will feature a keg toss competition, as well as live music, food trucks, and a family area with bounce house and games. Camping is encouraged for the weekend. General admission for adults includes a souvenir sampling glass and three free beer tokens for $15. Designated drivers receive free admission and a free meal ticket. Children are also free. Tickets are available at AntelopeButte.org or at the Pint Night.

“We are truly excited to participate in the craft beer community,” said Gast, “Antelope Butte is a special place, and at its core it is about families and friends spending time together in the mountains.”
