A Sheridan area man, whose name has been redacted, recently recounted his harrowing ordeal at a 4-way stop to the Sheridan Brand team. His 5 o’clock shadow approaching 6 o’clock, his eyes sunken in, he shakily recalled,
“It all happened so fast. One moment I was at the 4-way, then three other people showed up. I was there first, so I tried to go, but one of the other people inched forward. So I stopped and tried to let them go, right? But then he stopped too. And then the other two kept doing the same thing. This went on for a time before a Ford Raptor plunged in from out of nowhere, and went before any of the four of us. We all reversed in recoil, and the vicious cycle started over.”
After nearly a full week, [REDACTED] was rescued from his stationary car by the Sheridan Fire and Rescue Department. Sources say he was dehydrated and delirious.
