Recap: Black Tooth Brewery – Community Pint Nights

Black Tooth Brewery continues to put on their staple Community Pint Nights, and to catch up on the most recent ones, here’s a double feature recap: Habitat for Humanity and Sheridan Community Land Trust.

Community Pint Nights are held on Tuesdays at the local brewery featuring a local non-profit with Black Tooth Brewery donating $1 for every pint of beer sold from the day.

The purpose of these community nights is to bring awareness and education around these non-profits by featuring their organization for the night and donating to their cause.

SCLT is a “locally based non-profit organization that provides non-motorized recreation opportunities, conservation easements, wildlife restoration.”—Kate Belton, Communications and Design at SCLT.

Partnering with the SCLT is a no-brainer for the brewery. They are passionate about all things outdoor recreation from long-distance running to fly fishing.

Jesse, the general manager at Black Tooth Brewery, says, he and his staff regularly volunteer hours in community cleanup efforts along the river, for example.

What will the funds be put towards?

“100% of tonight’s proceeds will go towards the Red Grade Trail System. We’re also celebrating BLM approving the next six miles of trails on top of the two miles already made.” –

With donators offering to match $9 to every pint sold in addition to the brewery’s donation, SCLT raised $4,720.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity has long since been lending a hand to those in need.

“Habitat for Humanity in Sheridan has helped families with building simple, decent, and affordable homes for the past 20 years,” says Christine Christopherson, Execute Director at Habitat for Humanity.

Support in attendance came from board members, community members, brewery denizens, and people stayed well past the event time of 9 p.m.

Christopherson said, “We’re very thankful to Black Tooth Brewery for featuring us.”

She also mentioned that Habitat for Humanity had garnered $1,500 from the event. All of which will go to support the continued effort to provide affordable housing.
