“Going to Michigan State University has been the opportunity of a lifetime. Not only that, but it has opened the door to so many other opportunities, as well. Having been born and raised in Sheridan, I’ve always been surrounded by a certain sense of community, especially going to Big Horn High School. My favorite part about Michigan State is that I feel that same sense of a tight-knit community, even with a student population of over 50,000. Our football team’s slogan was ‘Spartans stand together.’ To me, that pretty much sums up the MSU experience. “
