Where-idan?: Iconic Shadow

UPDATE: Congrats to Michelle Miller, winner of this Where-idan? contest. Michelle correctly identified the shadow as that cast by The Mint Bar sign on the side of what is now the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce building but was once Woolworth’s.

Ready to enter this week’s Where-idan? contest? Here’s how: comment below and tell us what object is being silhouetted on the side of the building AND what organization is housed in the building that is being silhouetted on by the object silhouetted.

Wow. That was a heck of a sentence.

We’ve got pints from Black Tooth Brewing Company, Blizzards from Sheridan Dairy Queen and gift cards to Qdoba Mexican Grill compliments of First Federal Savings Bank for this week’s contest.

And big thanks to Kat Deeds (Instagram: @kat_deeds) for sharing this great photo with Sheridan Brand.

The shadow is the bucking horse sign on the mint bar reflecting on the Sheridan college building across the alley.

It’s the iconic Mint bucking horse and I believe the Sheridan Chamber is in the building next to it! :)

It’s the sign at the mint, and the ally next to it :)

Shadow from the cowboy and horse on the Mint Bar, and the building that has the shadow on it is the new Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce location, downtown on Main Street!

The alley between the Mint Bar and the corner building years ago called Woolworths. The shadow is the Mint Bar sign.
